my tech love

The conversation went something like this:

me: so, the new iphone comes out early tomorrow morning.

him: (sigh) i know.

me: you should have one.

him: too hard to justify when we are getting ready to pay college expenses, etc.

me: let's camp out on the sidewalk and everything! like a young person would do!

him: ok :)

A little gadget therapy can go a very long way.

So did he get it? And when you say "we" camp out did you mean "him?" He looks a little chilled.
When I first saw your subject I thought you were going to talk about your wonderful "techs" you'll be working with next year! :-)

You guys totally crack me up!

well first of all as i always say it's very hard to believe you are two 45 year olds but that aside. as one tech person to a tech couple, absolutely you should have it. life's too short not to enjoy all the gadgets along the way. does gideon have a kindle? perhaps being an English professor that would be scandalous but it is way cool!

Miss C- I guess that was a confusing title. I certainly DO have that kind of love too.

M- Glad to be of assistance, my "email-the-husband-as-he-and-and-I-sit-in-bed-next-to-one-another" techie friend!

Minna- We love kindles, and the iphone has the coolest application that mimics it quite well, including the cool page-turning!

The video won't play for me (I don't usually have a problem with Blogger videos, just youtube) but I love how very convincing you are. Taunt him with youthful shenanigans and he'll go along with anything, probably. :)

My husband got the new Google phone when it came out and he was happy for days. Boys are funny.

I'm an i-phone widow too. I tried to talk mine into the new one...but economics scare him. That probably a really, really good thing....

I have to admit the camping out thing does sound fun...for a minute! :)

Like Connie, I'm also puzzling over the ambiguity in the title of your post. Were you referring to your own love of tech, your love (me) who is someone also with a love of tech, or perhaps (disturbingly) to your android lover? Cause I thought we had him out of the picture by now.

SO glad you talked him into it. You deserve it! (both of you)

That is so funny! Oh, to be young again. What is that like? I think I have jumped in to the old years head first... I'm drowning now.

Love it!

(My honey slept out for Wicked tickets and is planning on it for Lion King. Love it tons! We never did this when we were young and dumb!) :)
