day seventy-two: doppelganger

With boy #3 out of commission due to his broken pelvis and foot, boy #4 borrowed some of his hospital supplies for Halloween.  Gruesome of us, dontcha think?  Pretty handsome patient though, if I do say so myself.

Great costume! Makes me smile! It's good that #3 shares with #4!

Did you have him carry a rock "about this big"? ;)

Lol. I tried to tell him smiling would ruin the effect, but......

And Miss, THAT would have been good!

Haha! Way to make the most of whatever life deals you!

So the black eye and blood are make up? Is that your handi work, or did he do it himself. It looks pretty real.

I love that all of you have a great sense of humor about #3's situation. For the record, I didn't tell him to smile for this shot, he just couldn't seem to stop himself. :)

Phew! At first I thought you had another handsome guy with an injury.

Love the black eye especially. My mom used to put them on me for April Fools day. People would be so shocked when I came to school the next day looking all normal again.

Cute kid!

ok great costume but when i first saw this, i thought you were trying to recreate the mello/nemerow hospital marathon of your youth. i remember a time when all four of our kids broke a bone in a 15 month period.

Lynn- LOL yeah we for sure were not sedentary kids!
