their own path

Between being a girl (I think you know what I mean), and being a teacher, and being a mom, I totally passed out with my laptop by my side in bed last night.  I woke up at 3:30 when I reached for my husband and felt metal instead.  But I was in the process of posting this:

They asked for my help in choosing the right photo, and this one was so cool.  All of the symbolism.  Walking in step, hand-in-hand, on a path.  You get it.

My boy is all grown up, and so excited to marry his sweet bride who loves him so.  It is a good day.

I LOVE IT!! That is just so awesome! And I love having the reception the day before! Wed and escape, that's a great way to do it. We only had a wedding breakfast after our sealing and then headed out. Awesome.

Oh I love that. Especially how you can see their shadows holding hands too. There's something about that that makes me smile hugely...

I think it's so fun how casual and tailored to personality wedding announcements have become. When I got married, they all pretty much looked the same.

Neat looking invitation.
My last child (son) and his bride had their wedding reception the night BEFORE the wedding also.
The wanted ONLY their temple ceremony to be the focus of that day.

Isn't it awesome watching our kids take their own paths? Especially when they choose, and I say choose carefully, for themselves the path they were raised to follow?

AWESOME!

Beautiful idea for an announcement.
