1*1*11

I had the fun job (no sarcasm here) of chaperoning a regional dance in our city last night for NYE. These kids are so terrific. They danced, they ate, they guzzled the water. They had a blast.

Geo loves to dance (sorry to all my friends who have to beg their husbands to dance), so we split our time between the kitchen, where we were the chief refreshment police, and the dance floor, where we were the only people over 17 that were actually moving.

I did not put up a reflective post about the past year or goals for this new one. But I will leave you with a few things that symbolized 2010.

Homework
Missionaries
Stake YW
Wedding
Weight loss

It was good. It can even be better.

Love,
Kaz

I completely agree. Congrats on a wonderful year. I am one of those few women whose husbands DO NOT dance. *sigh*

We "forced" our 15 year old son to go to a regional dance last night and the only time he danced was when a girl asked him. He couldn't stop talking about it. :)

You've had an awesome year with plenty of hard work to pay for all the blessings (two of which can be seen in those pictures: a great husband and a GORGEOUS you!). :)

Chaperoning a dance would be a dream job for me, although I'm not sure I remember how to dance (without babies) since I married a non-dancer (because I would HAVE to dance!)

It's the dress. The Zoozle dress. I love it. And I love reading your posts. I'm glad I've found you. :)

I think it is that zoozle dress too, right? I bet you and your husband looked great on the dance floor.

I enjoy reading your blog and Happy New Year!

I'm so envious! I haven't had my husband home on NYE for 11 years. Curse and blast those terrorists and their menacing ways! You sure look great. Happy New Year!

Such a great way to bring in the new year, chaperoning(dancing).

How fun! A guy I work with asked me tonight what was my best NYE ever? I answered it was probably the year I was the chairman of the Stake Youth Committee and we had a NYE dance. It was so much fun!

And I'm waaaaaaay jealous that your husband will dance. Not mine. Unless it's standing in one spot and turning in a circle to a slow song.

And you really are quite darling!

I must say that I'm looking forward to chaperoning dances. : )

What a lovely list to send off the old year and start the new.

Wow! You look FABULOUS!

Heidi | January 4, 2011 at 9:53 PM

My husband would be perfect if he only loved to dance. He doesn't even have to be good at it, just willing to do it. Sigh . .
