thoughts turning

Last week I brought our new bunnies in to see the kids in my class.  And, of course, it truly was a magical thing.  My students were mesmerized as they pet their downy soft bodies and watched their little twitching noses.  A couple of students in particular were so totally taken with little Nala and Nabooru they they would almost go into a trance-like state when they interacted with them.  If I didn't actually feel obligated to teach them letters and numbers, I might consider sitting around and playing with animals with them each and every day.  It was just that much fun.

At the end of Spring break I partook in a little consumer therapy with two girlfriends as we spent 2 days in Park City walking through the outlets and then eating out-of-this-world sushi.  It was a great way to welcome in Spring.

Is that bunny yellow? I love it! M looks so cute with those bunny ears!

Love the purple toenails. I need a Spring pick-me-up and I need to be in a trance-like state for a while. Can I come hold your bunnies?

Looks like some fun consumer fun!

The bunnies look like such a fun thing to do for the kids.

Cute bunnies, cute little kiddies, cute flip-flops, love the toenail color. Fun times. A get-away with girlfriends sounds very enticing to me right now. I should plan something like that. Glad you got a break.

I need cute toes like that. I was just looking at my ugly toes and thinking about how badly I needed a
Pedicure.

I hung out at the outlets last week too- too bad we didn't bump into each other. I was the one with the two crazy boys...

The students were served a treat for sure. Bunnies are soft and like to be cuddled. Perfect.

I'm going to throw caution to the winds and say that there is a lot to be learned from playing with animals. Even letters and numbers if it's done with intent. I vote for more bunnies in the classroom!
