Musical Monday: And So It Goes
I decided to leave this one unspoiled and simple. It is a favorite of mine from Billy Joel and I thought it would be a good one for the blog.Just a disclaimer here: I am happily married and an optimistic person (see... I even inserted a picture of me smiling to prove it). It's just that for some reason I find myself drawn to songs that are contemplative and sometimes even sad. Actually, I think there are more songs that fit into this category than the happy, smiley one. It's fine with me, because I think that maybe deep down we all have a place where we bury feelings of loneliness or insecurity.
So, here is the selection for today. Enjoy!
Kazzy's voice has been silenced by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act(see the details here). Sorry you can't listen to her sing directly. But send her a message and she'll try to work something out.

Thanks for sharing that song. It was really moving.
You are soooo talented. I have missed hearing you sing! Now I can! YEAH!!!!
PS-I told Sheri to come and check out your blog because she is missing out!
How do I not know this song? I love Billy Joel. As usual, your singing is just gorgeous! BTW thanks for the disclaimer. I might have been worried. Phew! :)
I LOVE that song too. I love the sad stuff too, for the very reasons you wrote about.
Your voice is beautiful and so are you. I'm loving this Musical Monday thing!
My husband walked in while I was listening to this and said, "That's a nice song!"
"It's my friend singing a cappella," I said.
"Really? Wow."
You have a beautiful voice. Thanks for posting!
A great song beautifully performed. Definitely chocolate. Lindt extra dark chocolate mixed with cream and melted into fondue. :)
I love that song. And your voice is gorgeous. Have you ever sung professionally? You are so talented. I'd buy your CD if you ever try to be a recording artist.
