Musical Monday: Devoted to You
For this week's music post I felt like getting a bit nostalgic, so I rummaged through the piano bench and found the sheet music to Devoted to You, which was written in the 1950's, but madefamous by Carly Simon and James Taylor a couple of decades later.
Geo and I sang this as a duet almost twenty-two years ago at our wedding breakfast at the Lion House in downtown Salt Lake City. It isn't blemish-free, but it is sung with genuine love and affection for each other. Yes, today it is all about the sentiment, folks! Enjoy.
Devoted to You
Kazzy's voice has been silenced by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act(see the details here). Sorry you can't listen to her sing directly. But send her a message and she'll try to work something out.

I didn't hear a single blemish. The pictures are adorable! You guys are a riot! I love that you sang this together. At your wedding breakfast! And the Lion House! How cool is that?

Absolutely adorable---song AND pictures!
I FINALLY got to listen to this on my husband's computer. I have never heard that song before. I love the simplicity and and I-can't-think-of-the-other-adjective-I'm-looking-for. Really cute and sweet song. And I just love the singing it together for old time's sake.
