This reminds me of all the girls in those Victorian novels who aren't old enough (or don't care enough) to dress up in the fancy colorful dresses but wear thin white dresses. Of course they always end up making the fancy ladies look bad. So do you!
oh, this reminds me of the sweet uniqueness that I have imagined that you (and other moms of all boys)must feel as the First Lady of your house. Being the lone Lady, I imagine it's especially fun to be feminine.
April, go get youself a new linen dress... you have sure earned it!
Lisa, I like aything that has to do with design (clothes, furniture, cars, etc) to be simple. But I never realized that about Victorian women! Cool.
Charrette, I laughed with your fragrance question because I thought the same thing when I was typing the title! And I love to be barefoot, even though it is hard on my bad right heel :(
Cookie, I never thought of myself as the first lady, but I will run it by the guys!
I too love linen....but don't you have to IRON that sucker. Plus white..I'd have everything imaginable spilled on it. But, like LisAway, it is sooo Victorian and regal looking/feeling. Why do we always wear sweats and a t-shirt when we could be so much more Jane Eyre-esk in a white linen dress. Keep it up.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Linen. Just thinking about it makes me feel like walzing nymph-like through my house in a fine dress of linen. I doubt, though, Kaz that I could pull it off as well as You!
I like the feel of linen, too. I wear a lot of it in the summer---in whites and creams :-) But I'm sure I don't look as adorable as you do in your white dress.

Wonderful! I especially love the photo with the hem of the dress and the bare feet!
Wasn't there a popular fragrance called White Linen? Like when we were in high school a hundred years ago?

Someone has to be the girl around there, right? It looks super comfy and you look fab in it!

Nice! So, how do I get to your mom's blog?!
