These are some of my favorite people, and I knew none of them only three years ago. From these ladies I have learned a lot of things about how to be happy. I have learned about hard work. Team work. The common good. They have introduced me to a part of myself that I am still getting acquainted with. Most days when I walk into the classroom I feel full of purpose and full of wonder. And God has walked with me here and there over these past few years. When I found myself struggling with a certain boy at the beginning of the year I prayed for a change of heart, and I had one. I have been able to find good things to see in my little friend. I see him like He might. I see potential and I see a little crushed spirit. I like to think that I have been able to see some of his goodness because God has let these wonder women see the best in me. It only seems fair.

It is so wonderful to be surrounded by such great people. And I love what you said about the little boy you struggled with. I have really been trying to see the people I struggle with in my own life the way Heavenly Father does. It helps so much.
This reminder is something I needed for working with some of the challening little Cub Scouts I have with special needs.
Can I join this group? Sounds like you are surrounded by some fabulous ladies. We all can use that as often as possible I think!
I have 3 very high maintenance cub scouts I've really been struggling with - thank you for the reminder - I need to look beyond.
It is great to work with such good people. They really do help you see the good after a really hard day. Glad you enjoy your job so much!!
Oh Karen, I feel the same about you. What a wonderful friend you are. I have learned so dang much from you and am looking forward to working with you again next year.
What a team we have all been!
Friends like that are such a gift. Sometimes I feel like I have too many - aren't such wonderful people supposed to be rare?
The "little crushed spirit" line gets me in the gut. He's lucky to have you!
Your perspective always leaves me kind of astonished. You are just truly good, Kazzy. I'm so glad to know YOU.
Hey --is that a Canadian Flag I see in the background!!!!
:-D This is cool, Kaz. This is just the lesson of life, isn't it? :-)
I think this job is one of the best things that has happened to you! I love those women...and I don't even know them!
Crazy how spending weekdays in close proximity with ladies brings you closer than ever -- my aides feel like my best friends, and never knew each other 3 years ago!
