pigskin therapy
I make pancakes or eggs and then encourage some chores to happily get done. But after this family time, Saturdays are for me. Selfish ol' football-lovin' me.I curl up on the couch under a brown heavy blanket and check out my options. Often I record one while I watch another. The brilliance of the DVR.
When I video skyped with my husband today (he is in Atlanta), I told him about a few stresses from the week. He leaned forward into his webcam and said, Why don't you just relax and watch some football?
I love him.

You are MY kind of girl!!!!
I love football.........used to have seasons tickets to BYU
all my boys played
second hubby was a high school footbal defense coach
I COULD WATCH IT FOR HOURS
only problem, cowboy hubby just "doesn't get it".
so he goes OUT into the field
and I watch the action ON THE FIELD
AWE, he knows you so well. Which games did you watch? I love foot ball season, I get some of my best napping done during the pro games.
Ha ha. Are you serious? Oh, girl, you are CRAZY!
I lub how you create such a cozy image though. Even with something as BORING as football. You are like curling up in front of a roaring fireplace. I LUB YOU.
My Ten in Ten Giveaway starts today. Come on over peeps. http://crashtestdummydiaries.blogspot.com/2010/10/ten-in-ten-day-1.html
Football makes me happy, too.
Having Nik play is about as fun as my life gets.
Pigskin therapy. :D
Perfect. What a good man!
I like to do the same thing on a Saturday but it wouldn't be football. It would be cooking shows or woodworking shows.
Love what your husband said.
How can we be friends for over twenty years, and I not know this about you?!?
Hilarious!
Football huh?
Who knew?
Actually, any sport. Basketball in March makes me wanna call in sick to work.
I'm all for basketball. Just haven't caught on to football yet! But ya know what? I think you rock! Watching football as a means of relaxation is cool!
I understand. Completely. Though, I have a hard time watching any sports by myself. When my husband is home? We watch everything (baseball, football, basketball, etc) together. It really is therapy! : )
You are so awesome, Kazzy! I want to like football like you do. It's taken on a whole new appeal. Your husband sounds like a definite keeper.
You are so rad, you Skype? I don't even know how to spell it! :)
PS: Your football is my writing time...escape from reality bliss!!
Does he know you or what? Nice way to spend your day doing what you like. We do Google video chat but most of our family doesn't do that.
