road trip day 8: bulldog bliss
We just hung around today, recovering a bit from our drive yesterday. It was nice to have my brother and sister and their families over for a BBQ and some swimming. Hot humid weather screams for a pool, dontcha think?
And when we weren't eating or swimming we were sitting there staring at Millie, my parents' nine-year old bulldog. In her twilight years, she is. My youngest listens to her breathe and snore and eat and just laughs and laughs.
Tomorrow we will attend a catholic mass in Latin with my parents before attending our own church.

Looking forward to reading about the Catholic Mass. Swimming is such a great summer day activity.
Yes, a day of hanging out with family after the long drive sounds perfect. I too would be interested in the mass.
A Catholic Mass in Latin - Should be interesting!!
A Latin Mass should be interesting. I was just a kid when I last attended one of those.
The swimming looks great.
LOVE THE BULL DOG.....Matthew had a bull dog, and now his kids are taking care of it. They love it for many reasons.
Yes humid screams POOL.
A catholic mass in Latin could be interesting.

I can understand why your boys would be laughing about the dog. There's something about a bulldog that is comical.
I'm so glad you can be on this fun trip! What memories you're making with your 2 youngest!
