day 351: trust
Have you ever felt an instant trust with someone? It is like you have known each other for longer than you really have? I have had that happen a few times in my life, this week being one of them.Sometimes I need that trust for myself, from God, from my family, from friends. And other times I feel like the conduit is wide open for me to offer it to others. It is an amazingly reciprocal thing.

I've started twice to write a comment and it all seems cheesy.
How about, so true.
Yes! I've had that happen. It is lovely. Kindred spirit sort of thing. And also nice to be the one to offer it.
I love it when that happens because my favorite part, the lasting friendship.
The key word is reciprocal, isn't it?
I had that happen when I met my husband and I paid attention.....he did too and we are still there....
That was lovely! And so true. In fact, I'm visiting someone right now I bet through blogging who I feel that with.
Platonic love at first meeting. Yes, and it is always a blessing.
I felt a glimmer of that in the brief moment when I was able to meet you. It's a gift, plain and simple.
Aw, thanks, Kim. When I wrote this post I was thinking of a non-blogging experience, but you are right. Meeting some people I have gotten acquainted with through blogging has been amazing as far as an immediate kinship is concerned. :)
Yes, and it's always such a lovely feeling!
It is an infrequent blessing to have that happen! I have only a handful of people I can say that about.
Yep. I've got several friends who I met online, and it was that way. And a few friends I've met in RL, with the same vibe.
You're one of 'em. In both categories.
Backatcha, Miss D!
I know what you mean. It is always a treasure to meet a kindred soul like that.
