colored memories
my green rolling hills that turn burnt orange.
my gold and red five-point stars flickering from branches, and eventually falling to the ground.
my soft wet wind blowing through trees.
my melancholy.
my virginia september.

You must miss Virginia if it looks the way you described it! I love Fall!
Beautiful picture! I have been waiting for our mountain side to start changing, hopefully soon. With the cool, cool, temps this morning I feel it starting. I can't wait. I think fall is my favorite season :)
Virginia is a beautiful state. One of the most beautiful of all the states I think. My kids and I lived there in northern VA about five years and south by Virginia Beach for a couple years too.
I wish it looked like that here! It's still 100 degrees outside. Boo.
What a gorgeous picture!
I can imagine fall in Virginia would be amazing. I'd love to take a trip to the New England area actually in the fall and see all those changing leaves.
so many beautiful places in the world
our leaves are already starting to turn color now. I yell at them...NO NOT YET, PLEASE NOT YET...wait....a little longer
I know, I am sorta pathetic
Awww shucks! I hear ya, sistah!
Definitely no wet wind here.
I can't wait to go driving up the canyon as the leaves change. It's my favorite time of year.
Sorry you're missing your childhood home. Nostalgia can be both a blessing and a curse sometimes.
beautiful pics. I can't believe that it is already so colorful. The eastern states are renowned for their colors....but this early?
Beautiful colors in the photo. Along with beautiful words.
Gold and red five point stars. Love that image.
