parallel with the weather

I don't know if I make the mood or situation fit the weather, or if the weather just knows me really well, and wants to send a sign that says, "I am with ya, sistah!"  The wind we had last night and this morning fits me.

Winds of change.  Whirlwinds.  Time rushing by.  Frantic business.  Whatever it is, it is in the air all around me, rushing past my window when I am trying to fall asleep.  It is making my ears numb when I am taking the bleachers two steps at a time in the dark morning.  It is whistling and gusting and bringing things into my yard (life) that I don't have time to clean up right now.

And we might get a good storm today, which I generally love.  Yeah, I am pretty sure mother nature and I knew each other in a past life.

I had a friend in high school named "Stormy". It wasn't a nick name. It was her real name. I was always a little jealous of that.

I love the wind, too.

The wind was so bad here the other day it actually knocked over some corn stalks.
That wasn't you, was it? :D

The only thing the wind means to me is allergies!

Have fun with all your winds of change:)

It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature. Hope you are good friends.

I wish we could have had some seriously warm weather from Mother Nature this year.

oh we have known the same winds, dear Kazzy!
My favorite windy nights are when we're camping and the tent shakes like it's going to be plucked from the ground with us in it!
I'm kinda weird like that.

I feel so lazy each time you mention the run up and down the bleachers. I do admire you.

Hang on! Don't let those winds blow you away! You've got some beautiful days ahead, and I'm so excited for you!! (Mostly so you can tell me how to manage when it's my turn...)

The whirlwinds are what make a mess. Blowing sand in my eyes, leaving me confused and exhausted. At least I don't have to worry about my roots showing!

(BTW, your hair looks really cute! I meant to tell you that today!)

The change from summer to fall definitely makes me feel alive--like it's waking me up. Somebody has to do it.

I hope you're right. I need a good storm right about now.

I've watched you work. If anyone can hold back the wind, you can. And if you can't hold it back, you'll find a way to dance in it. You're just kind of like that.

Hoo boy we had an AMAZING wind storm here for three days straight last week. Lots of trees downed, luckily none in our yard.

Winds of change are good, in the end, but I am always resistant to them.
