techno sis

Tonight my sister and I were texting back and forth about her upcoming visit for my son's wedding next week. She is one of my besties because she takes the time to know me and to ask about me and my life. She also makes me laugh more than anyone else I know. Totally true. When she calls me I laugh so hard my abs hurt by the time I hang up. Quotes from her preschoolers, run-ins with sales clerks, etc. She just makes my life better.

Tonight we took pictures of some of our clothes and texted them to each other. What we might wear to the wedding. It was so fun. I love that we could do that. And I love that I did it with her.

I love my little sisters too! Chatting and texting with them is very wonderful. :)
Did you read that article on the study that found people have better lives with sisters?

Sisters are gifts. I am grateful that my daughters become more like sisters the older they get.

Sisters are the best!!! Mine is my best friend! She is amazing and the best part of it all are the memories that you share. That you don't have to explain anything because they were right there with you.

I am so happy you are happy and laughing is the best! Enjoy your time together. That's what it's all about!

There is nothing better than a sister. My little sister and I are best friends. Like yours, she is thoughtful.

Sisters are great. There are four of us girls in our family, and we love each other so much. We also have two brothers, and we love them, too. But it's different.

Just the other day, my sister was shopping and trying to describe how something fit over the phone. I said something like, "Too bad we are not high-tech enough to know how to take pictures and send them with our cell-phones."

Your sister must be really awesome to be in your family. That sounds like fun to show each other photos of possible outfits to wear to the special wedding. Yay.

That's how it is with me and my sister. We understand each other more than anyone else and can make each other laugh til we cry. It's wonderful to have her in my life. I've had you on my mind, by the way, with the wedding coming up. Good times!

what a wonderful relationship
my sister and I are close too...even though she is 3 years younger then me, I look to HER for advice and strength.

That is wonderful!! That's how I feel about my sister too. Especially the laughing part. : )

I'm finally catching up with everything and must tell you that 1) very proud of your new exercise/eating regime and 2)so glad you are resuming musical Monday. Oh, and 3) yay for son (can't remember the number) who is getting married!!

Hey, my sisters and I text each other, too. My one sis texts a Ton. I end up laughing as I try and actually get a few things done between her rapid-fire texting. That girl could win an award for her skillz.

PS: Sisters rock, don't they? I can't imagine my life without mine. :)

PS: Is "missrobin" your real life sister? I've seen her comment on my blog (and others) before, and just read her comment. Curious minds want to know.

I can vouch for the way she makes you laugh. I'd never heard you laugh so hard until she came to visit. She is the best. :)

While I love my sisters, I don't have that sort of relationship with any of them.
I'm quite envious.
