Musical Monday: Gravity
I got a little taste for this song watching So You Think You Can Dance. That addiction routine just really hit me, with both the music and the movement of the dancers. Powerful stuff.With that in mind, as I was recording this song I tried to keep that same feeling going. I knew if I had to read the lyrics while I was recording it would take away from some of the mood, so I spent a day getting the words down and then I closed myself up in my recording space (read: the dressing room off the bedroom) for an hour until I got a decent cut. I hope you can make some kind of connection.

I fell in love with this song too. It was one of my top 3 favorite routines all season on SYTYCD. Powerful, lump-the-throat stuff that I think everyone can relate to on some level. Beautifully done, my friend.
