tomorrow

"I'm the helper tomorrow, Miss Karen!  I'm the helper tomorrow."

Not tomorrow, bud.  Thursday.  You are the helper on Thursday, ok?

Then he goes to get his coat and backpack.  Afterward he runs up to the front bulletin board to look at his photo.

"I'm the helper tomorrow, Miss Karen!"

OK, friend.  You are the helper.

The enthusiasm to help and to be part of something.  I love this kid.

I wish we all were that eager to help...

It seems that young kids are often so eager to be "helpers." I wonder if that's just something everyone outgrows, or if somehow we discourage them out of it. Hmmm.

And you lead by example my friend. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

I remember that kind of enthusiasm! I loved being a kid and I loved my teachers. Somewhere along the way, that naive eagerness waned.....but I'm still interested and engaged......it's the only way to be.....

Love little kid enthusiasm. Especially when it means they race to get the phone or answer the door and I can stay seated:)

What a cutie! Aren't kids the best? This post made me smile :)

I love the enthusiasm. And anticipation in little ones is always so precious (and a little exhausting).

Too cute! His enthusiasm makes you want to create something for him to help with BEFORE it's his turn. What precious moments you experience in your line of work.

You make me love him, too. I've said it before, I wish my kid had had a teacher like you.

He sounds like a delightful kiddo!
You are so blessed to be able to see the good within each of those kids.
What a rare gift you are to those you interact with.

I think you must be an excellent teacher!

That would be a good lesson for all of us......to approach each day with enthusiasm to BE A HELPER

It's cute that he wants to help. Maybe he could do both days? ;)

I love the enthusiasm of children too. I wish more could rub off on me.

If only we could all carry that same enthusiasm into adulthood.

I can totally see the whole picture. The little things like that I miss the most.

It's all in the attitude (and sometimes mine needs an adjustment!).

Thanks for the upbeat reminder.
