day 142: methinks, therfoor me am
I love having smart friends that make me reconsider opinions and positions I have taken on certain subjects. I like talking about religion, politics, movies, books, and different places and cultures. This is not to say I always have something meaningful to contribute, but I like being part of the discussion, even as a listener.Doctrine and Covenants 130:18-19 (revealed scripture to Joseph Smith, and part of the canon of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) says:
Whatever principle of intelligence we attain unto in this life, it will rise with us in the resurrection. And if a person gains more knowledge and intelligence in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, he will have so much the advantage in the world to come.
Sometimes I enjoy some of my own meditation time with a good book or film, but often I find myself feeling much more intellectually lifted after having spent time with people I respect that enjoy some good back-and-forth sharing.
This post is a shout out to all of my family and friends that help me to expand my mind and heart. I think you know who you are. You are smart like that.

I love being the dumb one in the room for all the reasons you mentioned. I am happy to just sit and soak in all the smarticles that fly around like pixie dust. And yes, you sparkle like crazy.
I think you may include your very own blog in that.
Oh, how would it be? I enjoy talking to you. I learn so much from your insight and wisdom.
I love that, too. No matter how firmly I believe something, someone can always make me at least understand another angle of it, and I think it makes me a better perosn.
