where i make a music video

At the gentle suggestion of Geo, I spent a couple of hours tonight (because who doesn't have 2 hours on a weeknight to mess around on GarageBand?) recording, mixing, and tweaking colors on this video.

I thought after doing around 60 audio tracks it might be time to try a video.  I have some more creative ideas for a possible next time, most of which would include much less of my mug and much more nature or other images.

Thanks for stopping by.

If I was a talent scout, I'd be finding out more about Miss Kazzy!
Such a beautiful song, beautifully done. I hope this is the first of many videos.

Thanks, Miss Connie. And Lesa, I appreciate your kind words.

I would love to do some collaborative stuff if anyone is interested. A duet?

That really was beautiful. I'd never heard the song and I loved it! I've left your blog open all morning so you can sing to me while I work. :)

Holy cow! I had no idea you could sing like that! I honestly thought you were punking us and pretending to sing. Beautiful.

Kazzy | April 7, 2011 at 8:27 AM

Kristina, I may punk you sometime, but this was not the time! ;)

Fabulous.

I love your boldness in trying new things all the time. I was just talking to a friend about how some people seem to get more rigid as they get older, while other seem to keep growing and trying out new experiences. I think you're a great example of the latter... not that you're really "old" but I just love the fact that you are fearless in trying new experiences!

I got chills. The good kind.

Why aren't you on the radio, girl? You're twice as talented as most of the people I hear on it.

You never cease to amaze me. You're beautiful, just standing there singing.

I must find an occasion to hire you to sing at. You're wonderful!!!!

Kazzy | April 7, 2011 at 1:16 PM

Thanks guys. You know, it is pretty hard to watch yourself on video (ugh), but putting myself out there is a good challenge.

I am always comfy behind the mic, but it's in front of a camera that's hard.

What hard things are you going to try? ;)

WHAT FUN!!!!!!!! Too bad there isn't a Mrs. American Idol.
I'd vote for you

wendy | April 7, 2011 at 4:01 PM

and Kazzy, in answer to your question.
I don't want to try anything hard right now.

Wow, you are a star!

lesa | April 7, 2011 at 11:06 PM

You would laugh if I tried to sing a duet. If you need a pianist, I'd love to join in. :)

So beautiful.
I'm going to be so proud when you are all rich and famous and everything cuz I'm gonna say, "ya, I met her before...uh huh!"

Your voice is like melted butter dripping down a stack of pancakes. (seriously, there isn't a better sight in the world than that!)

Thanks for making me happy today.

Awesome! Your singing is beautiful, and it was good to see you in a video after having only seen pictures of you.
