cello mondays
So, here's how it goes every Monday.
I work all day and then I usually have a faculty meeting until 3:25. At this point I pull up to my house, a mile away, and honk. #4 runs out with his cello and we drive up to north Provo for his lesson. All the way there I am drifting, so I keep a running conversation going with my boy, in order to check in like a good mom AND to stay awake like a live one.
We pull up to Megan's place and #4 stows away his iPod and says, "See you in a half hour", 'cause he knows I am powering back my seat to refuel for the ride home.
Here are some shots from inside my quiet time.

I LOVE this post!!!!!
I'm glad you have that 1/2 hour of KAZZY time.
Looks like a great place to relax. :) How often do you actually fall asleep? I'm falling asleep just looking at the pictures (and also because I'm super tired...)
Reminds me of the days (and nights) I spent running the boys from one thing to the other. Thank goodness they all have their own cars now!
hahahaha
How cute are you!
I wish I had thought of that. But it would be a long long long long post. Like a slideshow of pictures of all the places I sit and wait.
And my car is much messier.
Awesome!!! Taking time you need.
now that's making the most of every minute of the day! Four kids is a lot of work for a mom....making every minute count is essential....take a nap already!
I hope you get some shut eye!
I sneak naps in my car all the time. With all the running around I do, it is the only time I can find.
I LOVE those blissful moments where you are obligated to do absolutely nothing. And, I so love your hair.
Looks like some great relaxing time!
Thank goodness for reclining seats!
I remember those days. Summer holidays are just around the corner.
I am a bad (but an alive) mom because my kids don't do anything superfluous like that. YW, scouts, doctor appointments, they're where they have to be but nowhere else, for the most part. Bad momma.
I totally understand this!! Love the picture of the trees!
That is my kind of quiet time.
