Musical Monday: Sleep Song
With the engagement of my oldest son this week, I wanted to do this little lullaby I discovered recently. Any of you who have been reading my blog over the past year or so know that I have been basking in nostalgia as I welcomed home my oldest from an LDS mission and have now sent my second son out. My two youngest sons will both be in junior high school this year, and now we have a wedding in 2 months. Please
To Perry, my first-born

Congratulations on your son's engagement - fantastic news!
Anyone else crying onto their keyboards? So gorgeous.
Congratulations! They grow up so fast and we watch them from the craddle to now. Bitter/Sweet. But awe the joys in knowing they are living what we have taught them.
I remember when I got married, my brother was in the MTC. He was missed, but he came home to many new adventures. Have fun with this one!
Wonderful news about Perry! Only 2 months away? Let me know if you need help with anything!
Beautiful song!
Why did you have to go and make Betty cry? Lovely and it just reminds me how quickly time zips by. One son has left home, the other will in a year. No children to hug right now. Will a cat do?
Congratulations to your son and his intended. I hope both families of the engaged couple enjoy all the preparation as the families are joined.
Congrats on your sons's engagement. How exciting!
You made me cry, bad lady. :) Oh the bittersweet.
Congratulations Karen, on Perry's engagement. How exciting to have a wedding in the near future. They are such a cute couple.
Beautiful song.
Thanks for the tears Kazzy.
I can't believe how fast those years went.
Oh, Kaz, that was sublime. I love the Celtic feel to the structure - all those 'low sevens'. I kept imagining an Irish flute in the background.
Now I am in a puddle of tears. My Bubee wants to know why I am crying. Such a touching song. I really love it.
Now let me wish you a BIG CONGRATULATIONS on your son's engagement.
The first wedding, oh my...and then that song. I'm a blubbery mess now! Congratulations to you, to him, to them!
Congratulations! I'm so glad the proposing went well.
Hey!! Did I miss something?? (Apparently, I did...) Congratulations to your son, and to you and Gideon! How exciting!!!
