Musical Monday: Breath of Heaven

This one is for my compadre, Miss Connie.

I love this song, and the way it makes the listener put herself in Mary's place.  At least just a little bit.

Christmas is coming... enjoy.

That is the first time I heard that song. You have such a beautiful voice.

Amy Grant does it much better, but I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks!

I'm finally getting around to blog world. This song was beautiful. I have never heard it before, which is weird considering how much I love Christmas music.

I am sure I will never, ever be first or last, but if you do O Come O Come Emmanuel I will love you forever.

Wow. That was gorgeous. We're singing that in our community Christmas choir concert in a few weeks (I'm apparently a 2nd soprano, so you sang my part :) Beautiful.

Now I am really mad at myself for not blog-reading for so long! This is one of my fave songs ever. Amy Grant does this one on her Christmas album which has been a staple at our house for at least 15 years. It is one of those songs that makes me wish I could sing SO BADLY b/c it is so beautiful and meaningful. You do it so well!

Linking to this tomorrow. (Tonight, during choir practice, I was moved to tears singing it.)
