day 112: duck and cover

Do you ever feel a wee bit victimized when someone drops a bombshell on you and asks for your support? Even when there is genuine love there?

Sounds like a pretty rough day. :( Hugs and prayers.

I am a born confidante it seems and sometimes...oh how it hurts. My sympathies!

It depends on the bombshell, but generally...oh, yes.

Oh boy. Yes, this has happened to me here and there and I hate it!

:( Hugs to you.

Oh yes. Yes, yes, yes. Feeling victimized and yet wanting to be supportive. And it's probably confidential and you can't tell anyone and share the burden. You know the song, "What I Did for Love?" Yeah, that.

I think I know what this is referring to?

YES!!! - I think that is exactly what I DID with my family and friends when I told them I'd be remarrying and moving to Canada and I could use some support.
Not always easy -------to ASK-----or to give the support I found.
difficult

My nickname at work is "the mom". Not always a good thing.

Yes! Yes I have! It's going to take me a long, long, long, LONG, time to process.

You are a true saint. I think that is why so many people feel you can be trusted with unfair burdens.
