his eye is on the sparrow

it toils not.
neither does it spin.
yet it is watched.  protected.  cared for.

how much more care for us?  how much more flight can we take?  with His breath under our wings we fly and sing our sparrow song.

Wow Karen, do you promise that's really you singing? I am impressed. Is there a way to download it to my ipod. I've always loved this song.

Warmly, Michelle

It's fun to read your blog now :)

fOh thank you ... this is one of the most important lessons we must learn from 9/11. His eye is on us.

I read this incredible quote from Elder Maxwell on another post:

“He is a loving Father who wants us to have the happiness that results not from mere innocence but from proven righteousness. Therefore, he will, at times, not deflect the harsh learning experiences that may come to each of us—even though he will help us in coping with them."
Elder Neal A. Maxwell, “Talk of the Month,” New Era, May 1971, 28

Beautiful post! A needed reminder for me! And you have a gorgeous singing voice. I'm guessing your husband and kids must make requests all the time. :)

I just read this scripture the other day and I was struck again by how much I love it.
