day 121: by voice

I'm sitting here in my living room by myself in the morning and realizing how much I like to wake up to Christmas lights on the tree and on the front porch and I find that I keep the lights on all day so that there is no chance of forgetting to plug them in. I don't like waking up to complete darkness in the Winter. Lights are hopeful.

I used a dictation program to make this post and this was done all by voice command. How cool is that?

Not gonna lie, the dictation thing freaks me out. How does the computer know what you're saying? Scary.

But, something that's not scary, Christmas lights during twilight or pre-dawn. So magical.

Yes, I love Christmas lights too.

You're so HIP. You are up on all the latest technology, and that's pretty awesome!! (They have these awesome things you can put on your Christmas lights....I think they're called TIMERS...so they turn on and off and you don't have to remember...) ;-)

We use our tree as our nightlight, and it's in the corner between our two large stretches of patio doors - the reflection is entrancing...

I agree with the lights.
The dictation is cool. That would sure save me some time typing but then I tend to ramble while talking so I'd have to do it over and over to get it right, so I guess it wouldn't save any time after all!
