on our way out
Geo and I are in Phoenix for a few days, staying with some people who are pretty darn important to me. It has been a while since we got away together, and to say I was looking forward to a different venue for a few days would be an understatement. On the way to the airport we stopped for some ribs and sweet potato fries (oh, how I love sweet taters).
We held hands and talked and Geo got a bit messy from the ribs.
Sometimes you (I) can get a little robotic in life.
Get it done. Check it off. Move to the next thing.
I need hiccups to keep me in check.
This guy is a great partner to me. He keeps me grounded. Gently steps on the brakes when needed. And often sits back and observes so that when I ask for advice he is ready to give it to me.

Lucky you!
And enjoy your time away together in the warm sunshine!
I love sweet potato fries, too! Have fun in Phoenix.
Mmmm, sweet potato fries. Never tried them but they sound delicious! So glad you got a break!
Lovely post. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
You make such a cute couple. Enjoy your time together.
Have a wonderful time! And say hello to AZ for me~ I kinda miss the place.
Enjoy!
A change of scenery sounds like just the thing you and Gid need right now! It's nice you're together.
Have fun!
Beautiful!!!
That is a beautiful thought.
I need a couple of hiccups right now.
Your relationship with your husband is one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. :)
So Awesome! There is nothing more exciting than a hiccup to keep us on our toes.
when I got married I made a dumb newlywed rule not having a clue what real life would bring. One night alone and a new temple every year. Best dumb thing I ever did!!! The switch up and time to sit in a unfamiliar temple is bliss. Real life can wait.
I'm married to a guy like that too. What a gift it is.
Travel safe and happy!
I recently had sweet potato fries and they rocked my tastebuds. Wow.
I love the tender words you described your husband like. Men like that are priceless.
Someone who can brake you and not break you is a blessing.
Love sweet potato fries. Also love sweet potatoes in Korean restaurants wen they batter and fry them.
