day 239: rerouting

Have you ever had a conversation with someone you care about that is, at the same time, nerve-wracking and exciting?

Where your heart kind of starts pounding as you feel your neurons rerouting themselves all through your body?

And after the conversation is over all you want to do is go eat something and then go to bed?

"Cause I just did.

How lucky you are. It sounds like it touched your soul. I hope it was a gentle and loving touch.

Yes. And it's lovely. *sigh*

Then I have other similar experiences, usually with family - caused from an inability to communicate. Not what you meant, I know. But my brain feels rerouted and I am excited and nerve-wracked at the same time. And afterward, I feel the need to eat chocolate and hide under the covers. ;)

I have had one single conversation that made me feel exactly like that, and I knew that my life would never be the same. I will never forget it.

It was a conversation I hoped NEVER to have, and I hope to NEVER EVER have again. It broke my heart.

I REALLY REALLY hope yours was not like mine!!

Marianne--- I will share if you will share! I still can't decide if it was a great experince or not. Time will tell on this one.
